Courses > Rehabilitation Art

It is a known fact that art can and does play an important role in the rehabilitation of people, and allows them a freedom that perhaps they have not known before.

One of the most important aspects of this is that it is a level playing field for all. Artists/people that paint around the world use their mouths and feet to paint, with their disability playing no role in what they can achieve.

Art absorbs the mind. Using all kinds of colour, it helps to relax and is very therapeutic. It has a calming effect and there is no pressure. The atmosphere of the studio in a landscaped garden adds to the ambiance of the whole experience.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, physical problems, limb loss will not stand in your way as you embrace a canvas with brushes and paint.

The minimum course time is 5 days, but can be extended indefinitely as the need arises. This course is flexible and can be adjusted to suit.

All materials, equipment a light lunch and refreshments are included in the fee.
